Auction Preview Page

The Auction Preview page is going to be one of the most visited pages while you are in the process of cataloging your lots. To access it start at the Dashboard, then go to Auction > Preview Auction.

Preview Page Format Options

You can switch back and forth by going to Auction Settings and configuring the Auction Preview Page dropdown. we have two options available:

Pages Format

This is the default for every auction workspace in the system, and is the option we recommend. This setting lets you edit lot information directly in the table cells of the page without having to use the Lot Builder along with a few others:

  • More compact viewing fields, allowing you to see more information.
  • Ability to create Report Views, which are stored on your browser's cookies.
  • Lot actions.
  • The catalog is broken up into pages, letting you decide how many lots to view at a time.
  • Editing tools are available for quick, text formatted, editing.
  • Ability to search by "Shipping Status"

Scrolling Format

No information may be edited through this page, but all of the information for all of the lots will be loaded. It is better for very large auctions where you need to find at a glance the information about a lot.

  • Expanded view of the available fields.
  • All the lots are loaded at the same time.
  • Basic text entry box that emphasizes data entry speed.
  • Faster loading for large auctions.

Usage

From the Dashboard, go to Auction > Preview Auction. This path is the same regardless of which type was chosen in the Auction Settings.

Pages

In the Page Actions Menu on the top-right corner of the page you have two options:

  •  Print Form: Print any forms configured.

    • Scope: Whether only your own user account has access to the report view, or all users within the company.
    • Is Default Report?: Whether this view will automatically apply anytime you visit this page. If the scope is company-wide and this option is enabled this report will then become the default for everyone.
