Wavebid has a way to upload Tax-Exempt forms into the system so that you can keep track of who is tax exempt and who isn't.
Tax-Exempt forms can be uploaded in multiple ways.
The first method is to upload the form while checking in your bidders.
To do this, go to Accounting>Check-in>Either pull up the bidder if they already exist, or click the + sign to create a new bidder.
Once you're in the check-in screen, you will see a page that looks like the picture below. Take special note of the Tax Exempt area at the bottom right.
Click the pencil icon next to "Tax-Exempt" in the bottom right of the screen.
Now that the pencil has been clicked, a screen like below should appear for you to upload the bidder's Tax Exempt form.
Once the Tax-Exempt form has been uploaded, save the bidder's profile.
The other method is the exact same process, but from the company-level. This can be done by going to MyLinks>Company>Customers>Create/Edit.
You will go through the exact same steps as if you were checking the bidder in. This is just another way of adding this form to a profile.
Congratulations! You've just uploaded a tax-exempt form!
